Benefits

For electricity consumers

Floating Item

Reduced electricity prices for energy consumers through enabling more power to come from wind and solar capturing.

Floating Item

Solve the problem of solar and wind power energy storage by storing energy at peak performance and releasing it at peak demand.

Floating Item

Increasing competition and pushing electricity prices down.

Floating Item

Increasing the reliability of the grid and help to prevent blackouts.

For the economy

The Maboneng BESS 1 Project is expected to deliver over 100 jobs during construction and 10 full time permanent jobs.
